One thing us jailbreakers are very lucky of, is the bazillions of Cydia tweaks that are available to us. Today, we can add another tweak to the list of the Cydia tweaks.
This particular tweak, which is called MultiWall, does exactly what it’s called. This little application will allow you to select multiple wallpapers that you can have as a homescreen wallpaper.
At this time, the tweak is in Beta stage but will be coming out soon. Unfortunately, users have to manually change their wallpaper by using two finger-gestures. This can be useful as users now have to dive in to the Settings application and wonder around to find the wallpaper setting. With this tweak users can simply swipe to the right or left to change wallpaper.
No other information about the tweak has been announced, the developer says that more videos and the release will be soon.
Apple has never actually allowed users to fully customize their iOS devices. This is why Cydia developer Jay Freeman decided there needed to be a second application store for those apps and tweaks that Apple wouldn’t allow in their App Store.
With iOS 5, Apple has certainly stepped up the game with customization and productivity. An example of this would be the new Notification Center. Apple continuously tries to make their users feel satisfied with the stock operating system, without taking the Apple feeling away from the devices.
